Cucumber-Jalapeno Ice Water
Ice water can be a little boring, albeit refreshing. Typically, to spruce it up and give it a little flavor, most people add lemon slices or maybe even lime slices, but if you're a heat lover like we are, you might try this tasty alternative - a combination of jalapeno pepper rings and refreshing cucumber slices We added slices from an entire cucumber and the flavor was quite pronounced. You can easily reduce the amount of cucumber to achieve a balance you prefer. Yes, refreshing.
Ingredients
- 2-3 jalapeno peppers, seeded and sliced into rings
- 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
- 2 cups ice
- water
Cooking Directions
- To a glass pitcher, add cucumber and jalapeno slices.
- Top with ice.
- Fill with water and refrigerate 20-60 minutes to allow flavors to infuse the water.
- Serve!
NOTE: Serve this outside on a warm summer day!
